The Anko Model 101 gearmotor is an integral part of this drain valve. When the power is applied, the motor rotates the valve 90 degrees and then holds that position indefinitely. Anko’s specialized design allows the valve’s spring to “back-up” the geartrain after the power to the gearmotor is removed.
